Algaverse Biofertilizer Revolutionize Sustainable Farming Over 33% of global soils are moderately to highly degraded which is driven by excessive chemical fertiliser use and unsustainable farming practices (Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). Algaverse Together, we’re cultivating a greener, regenerative future." Algaverse Our technology can be tailored for diverse crops, climates, and farming systems—from smallholder farms to large-scale agriculture.
About ALGAVERSE

A novel CO₂-Capturing green fertilizer from Microalgae to revolutionizing sustainable and regenerative agriculture.

ALGAVERSE, in partnership with the University of Manchester, is a sustainable startup pioneering algae-based biotechnology to address critical global challenges like carbon capture, nutrient recycling, and sustainable agriculture.

Our Mission, “Unlocking Carbon Removal: Paving the Way for Gigaton-Scale Solutions in the Fight Against Climate Change,” reflects our commitment to reducing agricultural greenhouse gas emissions, cutting nutrient pollution, and promoting regenerative farming practices to foster a circular economy and a resilient, eco-friendly future.

Supports  EU Soil Strategy For 2030 “protecting and restoring degraded soils”. At least 40% reduction in chemical fertilisers use by 2030

Current Problem

27% of Greenhouse Gas (GHGs) emissions result from excessive use of chemical fertilizers costing over £7.89 trillion globally.

The excessive use of chemical fertilizers is rapidly depleting soil fertility, leading to severe land degradation and widespread socio-economic losses. The environmental consequences are far-reaching, affecting biodiversity, water quality, and air pollution. Additionally, the financial burden is staggering, with estimated global costs exceeding £7.89 trillion annually due to soil degradation, reduced agricultural productivity, and environmental damage.

The urgency for sustainable alternatives has never been greater. Adopting eco-friendly farming practices, such as organic fertilizers, crop rotation, and regenerative agriculture, is crucial to reversing soil degradation. By restoring soil health, reducing emissions, and promoting long-term sustainability, we can protect the planet’s resources and ensure a thriving environment for future generations.

Why Choose Us

At Algaverse, we’re not just solving today’s problems—we’re designing solutions for the next generation of farmers and ecosystems.

We Are Since 2021!

After earning my degree in Biochemistry and Food & Nutritional Sciences from the University of Sindh, I was honored to receive a prestigious USAID scholarship to pursue my master’s at USPCAS-W in the field of Water, Sanitation, and Health Sciences. It was there that my passion for environmental sustainability took root.

My research journey began with a bold vision: to treat wastewater using native microalgae species while recovering valuable nutrients—turning waste into a resource. This was more than science—it was a mission to build a cleaner, greener future.

During my semester exchange at the University of Utah, USA, my perspective broadened. I was exposed to cutting-edge sustainability practices and global water challenges, which deepened my resolve to tackle one of the world’s most pressing issues: climate-smart agriculture and nutrient recovery.

What started in the lab soon moved to the field. From working hands-on in open environments to engaging with over 500 farmers, I’ve transformed research into real-world impact.

Education for farmers

At Algaverse, we channel a portion of profits from our innovative biofertilizer to support sustainable farming initiatives and educate communities on eco-friendly practices. By combining innovation with impact, we aim to empower farmers and promote a greener, more sustainable future for all.

Our clients

In addition to the wishes of the client, the position, orientation, and size of the plot also play an important role in determining the final plan of the house. The 'where' and 'how' of the exterior then follows naturally from all of that.
